Delhi Transport Corporation services in Delhi have a vastly distributed network of bus services. . The most prominent of these being the Mudrika and the Bahri Mudrika services interconnecting all parts of the city.

Govt. of India, Ministry of Transport took over the local bus services in Delhi in May 1948 in the name of Delhi Transport Service.

It provides an efficient, economical, reliable and properly coordinated system. There are about 814 routes, out of these routes DTC buses are plying on 750 routes on Delhi Roads.

DTC is the First Transport in the country to have inducted the CNG Buses in its City Fleet. The Corporation also operates Inter State Services with diesel buses. These buses too are made to undergo Stringent Pollution Checks after regular intervals.

Apart from normal services, the Corporation also provides buses to the Citizen of Delhi on Special Hire for marriage parties, picnics, etc.
