There are too few pleasures in life, and food is one of them and this place will make you feel on top of the World with their highly personalized and impeccable service.
Baan Thai is the mother of all Thai restaurants in the city. Its award- winning cuisine is complemented by its unusual decor.
There is the traditional khan toke seating (in padded alcoves), and priceless objects of art are displayed all over. Its large windows overlook a blooming rose garden and the bluest of pools.
The husband- and- wife chefs create traditional cuisine, from crisp golden cake of Thai- spiced prawns, served with plum sauce to diced chicken stir- fried with cashews, mushrooms and sun- dried chilis, all served on sage- green crockery.
Hours: 12:30p.m- 3p.m; 8p.m- midnight

Posted by Mimi, 21 February, 2008I read some of the reviews of this restaurant and have to go there to try it. I can say that all of the things they said about Baan Thai were true! You just have to see for your self and try their best seller Thai spiced prawns
